... Although the wasps decided to attack again, much to Tabbi and Naomi's horror, every now and then we would open our eyes to see them jumping around swatting wildly at the terrifying beasts. Katie was more efficient and brutal, stamping very directly on one without mercy. Came back for tea. Anna, Tabbi, Naomi and Ellie are leaving 11pm to get a night train tonight, not envious of them, and then heading home. None of us had a very appealing tea- we had noodles with 1 cup of ...

    ... not the pizza.

We are staying at our nice quiet campsite for a second night. Wasps aside, and Europe does seem full of them, many drowning in my wine, it's a beautiful peaceful place. Right now we are sitting in our shaded area drinking Macedonian wine. £1.40 a litre (yes a litre). No wonder it kills the wasps. ... aspect when we jump, otherwise we are fairly likely to smash into the rocks at the bottom, if not there are also plenty of rocks at the side too. We spent about 3 hours making our way down the river. Vying not to be the last one to jump/slide/abseil so you could see everyone's faces as they threw themselves into the unknown or maybe so not everyone would be watching you. It's been a constant competition today for a mention on the blog. My fav ...

... as Emma decided it would be too difficult without mules to carry ours bags and Lucy didn't seem to keen on taking up the role of chief mule so we ended up getting a 20 minute shuttle bus to Bled. Excited, checking in to our hostel because we knowingly booked the same hostel as Tabbi, Anna, Ellie and Naomi without them knowing. However Lucy and Emma ruined the surprise later on as they stood outside the supermarket, munching their purchases and ...
