... was a bit of a blizzard. Also it was a Sunday so obviously nothing was open. We decided to go for a bit of a drive anyway, just to explore and have something to do. We went to St.Gilgen first which is a little town on a lake, it was very small but we walked around anyway. I'm sure the view from there would have been amazing if we could see it a bit better! ... After breakfast we returned to our rooms for a while, then headed off to the Markets at Dom Plaza, before finding a taxi and heading out of town, and into the forest for lunch at the Daxlueg. ... learnt to make pizza shapes (snow plow) but it was all in German. Alex loved it but Samantha was a little hesitant. We then ventured over to Alpendorf to ski as there was not enough snow at Werfenweg. We had a couple of small runs and Alex demonstrated that he had little control. ... we got, the more the haze reappeared. Had not missed it while in Austria. Walked to our apartment which is near the old city walls and arena. It is modern in decor after a recent refurbishment. All mod cons and flash. Went to a restaurant suggested by our host, and were lucky with our timing as we virtually went straight in.
