... atmosphere was fantastic. It was sad to see Alonso and Käikkönen collide in lap 1 which consequently led to them being out, and also watch Stevens and Button retire from the race. I was rooting for Hamilton throughout and although he finished second behind Rosberg, I still enjoyed every second of it and had an amazing day. Once the race had finished, people started to clear out of the circuit but Sophie and myself had to hang around until 7 for ...

Jerry hurt his left leg...so we decided early not to go to the race todayr this morning. So we decided not to go to the race and have him stay quiet and ice it all day. It just seemed stupid to try and go since it is so far away and if his leg got worse, we were stuck in a foreign country at a racetrack with thousands of people and no options. He is disappointed naturally but seems to be the best decision. So we ended up having the laziest day we have had in months!!! We went downstairs ...

During that hour I saw Hamilton, Rosberg, Vettel, Ricciardo, Bottas, Massa, Nasr, Verstappen, Grosjean and Hulkenberg, as well as Niki Lauda and David Coulthard. Sorry to all of you who have absolutely no idea what I'm on about but I was a little bit in love in that moment and will remember it for the rest of time. Whilst still on an absolute high, Sophie and ...

... going. With the windows closed, the parties could go on outside and we were unaware! I do think we have one of the least desirable rooms in this hotel ( downside of being on a tour at least in our limited experience)...others we have spoken to have quiet rooms with whirlpool tubs on deck etc. Note...I brought my iPad to track and it was great...I got the F1 app which was very helpful with qualifying. Plus took pics on bus! It seems to be pretty good for ...

... After checking the padlocks were secure on our own bags, we swifty walked in the opposite direction to all the commotion and came across a love link bridge full of padlocks which was really awesome. We also discovered a floating metal island thing in the middle of the river Mur so we had a wander across that which was pretty cool.

After a mooch about in the lower town we took the funicular up the hill to Schlossberg. It was so ...
