We waited so long that the baggage carousel had stopped by the time we were cleared. As we left the terminal we were instantly hit by the warmth. Mid twenties today, bright and sunny. ... experience very much at all but it will certainly go down in my book of firsts and something else that took place in America.

We found a few bargains, had some lunch at Subway, (which was very much like home with some added extras like soup and pizza!) and then worked our way back to the hotel to do some washing and top up our hot spot jet pack.
