... formed from glacial activity. Milford Sound is similar to the fjords seen in Scandanavia. Our boat tour took us around the sound which was surrounded by volcanos composed of solid rock and on which we could see numerous waterfalls. The scenery was spectacular . While I took a lot of pictures, pictures do not begin to show ...

The window was floor to ceiling and there was a corner sofa right by it behind some curtains. Becky chose to sleep here in what she made into her own room with a view! The kids kicked back with wifi and Rach and I headed straight up to the rooftop pool and bar. OMG, the views were amazing. We ...

... looking like we had pretty much walked from Yosemite itself. The resort was amazing with golf courses and tennis courts and country clubs but we had wine tasting in store! We spent the whole Sunday visiting a variety of wineries in the Napa region all incredible though I really think us South Aussies have some brilliant bragging reds! However going to Mumm in Napa was pretty exciting! Next was the casual 10 hour drive to ...
