CHAPTER 5: Disneyland!

A travel blog entry by madsandmike on Jun 08, 2014

... before we hit the bus depot to pick up our disneyland tickets and get on the bus. A short walk from the drop led us to 'the happiest place on earth'. Our day was full of paths that led us to totally different worlds. Worlds that had been created in the most specific detail, you felt like you were in the movie itself. ... the Haunted House which Nicci was very apprehensive about as she has done it before. We lined up and walked through slowly. It was dark and had flashes of light with real people dressed up as horror characters jumping out and spooking people. Fortunately, you can buy visas ...

There were also guys selling CDs of their songs and people selling balloons for kids. We checked out the handprints - noting that Gene Kelly had very small feet and Meryl Street stomped hard when she did her prints! It is ...

... and displays in readiness for their special Halloween park nights. With that in mind we headed to the Horror house which you walked through and had the pleasure of park staff dressed as all manner of horror characters who jumped out at various parts of the walk and at times were very good at scaring the willy out of you.

We returned to have a second go on a few of the rides before they shut the gates at 6 pm. A bit more shopping on the way out and then it was ...
