After over 4,000 miles, 13 different rooms/hotels and visiting over 45 Timmons and 11 Wall family members, NOT TO MENTION Rosie's mom, day and multiple uncles, aunts and of course Theresa, Rich & Ellie Goiffon we are home.

My back and left arm are killing me (Rosie;s favorite driving position.

All in all, a great time.

... but it seems they had their Model S shipped down to Charlotte for their vacation. To each their own but I think its kind of cheating... Between Burlington and South Hill we were joined on the road by a BMW i8, their new hybrid supercar. Beautiful looking plug in hybrid which can go 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. That's the same speed as a Tesla 85d, though the performance Tesla will do it in 3.2 seconds and is cheaper than the i8's base ...

... thoroughly enjoyed living close enough to spend really wonderful quality time with Gary and his kids this past three years. It was difficult to say goodbye today, knowing future visits will be months, sometimes years apart. Such is military life.
