Here we were able to see original manuscripts from Robert Frost and Emily Dickinson. The special collections curator wasn't there, but a woman on staff unlocked it and allowed us to walk around. ... to All Saints Church, which Ned and Bev attend and Ned is currently serving as interim along with two others. We returned to the Marriott and got organized in our room and got a decent nights rest.

Last Day til Blastoff

... looked at the checklist on my last entry. Check check on all of them. I didn't find a jacket I love, but one that will do. I won't be winning any fashion prizes. The biggest task was to ge the house in order, which I spent all last weekend on. Even cleaned the friggin fish tank. Everything (almost) in the house is in it's place. It's clean. I don't know why I bother because it will be mayhem when I get back. But at least it won't be double-mayhem.

First note to self: Book your air travel in January for an April trip. I could have gotten the tickets for the low 1100s, but for some reason did not hop right on that. I think I was gunshy after all the Christmas spending. Airfare after that just went up, up, up.

Ended up purchasing in early March for 1500-plus for Boston to Barcelona. I think we got the last fairly-decent tickets for that price. The worst part of the itinerary is ...
