... had just a sandwich and skipped the sides. Ted had the brisket and Sheree the pulled pork. The buns were toasted And they had three kinds of barbecue sauce on the table for adding when needed. So, so, so very good! It was a funky little place with license plates from all over the country on the walls along with Elvis, John Wayne and rock concert posters on the walls. ... Hampton Inn. The main reason I like to stay here is because right next to the Hampton Inn is the Oakatie Ale House, where we had dinner. We discussed driving on to Hilton Head Island for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants there, but decided we weren't in the mood to drive another 40 miles round trip!
