... We bought tickets for Hershey Park. Purchased in advance online for 45% of course.  If you haven't realized, we're ALL ABOUT DISCOUNTS. Priceline is great but sometimes even Priceline isn't the lowest price.  Choice Hotels own website have great advance purchase deals even better than Priceline, and 4.5% cash back! I can't wait for the next "Big Check" from Ebates.  Ten days to ...

We're going to Nashville! Made reservations last night just outside in the town of Springfield. Something less than $100/night including tax. (And 4.5% cash back from Ebates!) Nashville was WAY too expensive. I think the lowest price we found was $166 and it was an Econolodge!

Next up, Louisville. Going to see the ponies at Churchill Downs.

Speaking of Churchill Downs, Happy Kentucky Derby Day! Did you watch? Who did you pick to win? I ...

Speaking of jobs, we're trying to save as much money as we can. My wife is a genius at getting the lowest hotel price possible. ... steam room helped clear my chest. The coed lounge was comfy and sunny with snacks & teas and a room service menu to order lunch if desired. The staff was there when needed but not omnipresent. I didn’t try the hot tub on the full sun outdoor patio or dry sauna just beside it as I’d done the steam and I didn’t want to get dehydrated. But if you go, do bring a swimsuit.

I turned off my cell phone and swore off the computer for the ...

... for his room so the rest of us in the house wouldn’t
have to suffer so much in the incubator. So it’s fitting that he died at the
beginning of what turned out to be the coldest February on record in many parts
of the eastern U.S. rather than endure a month of the temperatures he so came
    to hate.

There’s a lot to attend to in the weeks after a family
member dies but no good reason to mope around long-term in grief. So when my
