An hour and a half later we were back in the hotel, seething at the amount we had had to spend on a taxi and then realised this was the only way we could have gotten back to the hotel.     ... of interesting looking shops so we were looking forward to checking out the area but we were beat and starving. We stepped out for a quick bite at Nando's chicken. I guess its a chain that is supposed to be better than Zankou. It was aiight. I'll keep the Z thank you very much.

    ... of the local parks and pondered, in nonchalant style, "It's not bad this jet set lifestyle is it?" That said, our first meal was at the 'Yorkshire Grill', out of pure intrigue.     ... Newcastle, but it started in the sydney CBD and was four lanes the entire way.

    Day 2 was altogether uneventful. After sleeping through 12 hours till midday Tarnie and I went for a walk up in the hills behind Altadena. The view would have been amazing but the fog\smog was blocking most of the scenery.

    Day three started with a drive up to malibu beach before lunch with tarn and a surfsurf at Santa Monica.
