... had our pictures taken on the Friend's set, but the coolest part was probably the walk through the props department - they have sooo much cool stuff. We were offered some tickets to go and see today's taping of the Conan O'Brien show , so we killed a couple of hours having lunch in the local area before check-in for the show (no photos allowed at all!). Conan was funny, it was cool seeing behind the scenes. The Band was really great and the guests were cool. We saw an animal ...

... at Monterey just added to the feel of wealth and made me cringe a little every time I used the brakes in the Comaro because they squealed so loudly !! The planned 3 hour drive drive took about 4, and we landed into San Simeon a bit after 4. San Simeon is kind of sad, despite the hotel being packed ( there are another 4-6 hotels on the same strip that were probably packed too), the town has a kind ...

... cruisers, with the low seat and long handlebars. Sunglasses on, we left thinking we looked very LA and cool until I discovered quite how hard these bikes are to steer and went straight into a bush. Luckily, after taking a bike onto South American city streets, LA roads were easy and not nearly as terrifying meaning we could cycle down to Venice beach in about 20 minutes.

Venice beach was a fantastic place - don't know if the people there get too ...
