    ... as all hell and hot and you probably got stuck next to the smelly guy too. The driver is probably accelerating just as fast as he's hitting the breaks so now you're bumping into everyone around you and the sweaty guy next to you and the smelly guy is bumping into you and you're sweating too because it is so damn hot.

    ... awake about 6, made tea on alcohol stove -- success. Cereal, milk, juice, fruit. Packed up and out about 9.25. Stopped in town of Nerstrand for ice -- little store that sold cheese and their own sausage. Bought thuringer.

    ... desert had an amazing home-made baked alaska. Marla is a wonderful cook and Brian does a great job on the grill. Our best meal on this trip by a landslide.
