    ... our cars I read a sign that we should have read on the way up. Apparently there were mountain lions spotted in the area. The sign instructed us not to panic and to back away slowly if we saw one. I have to learn to be more alert in the future!

    ... parallel with the Mexican border and are carrying our passports with us just in case we are stopped and asked for identification for the next week.
