... until 10:30 am. I saw lots of flat prairie which can easily become tedious so I was on the look out for landmarks to break up the scenery and found the Cypress Hills, a tree, a wagon train of cows, some pump jacks and huge modern grainaries.
I stayed with my Aunt Audrey in Swift Current Monday night. I wish I could have stayed longer. Before I left, she gave me a lovely ring with pearls and garnets to match my existing birthstone ring. I absolutely love the ring.
... painted posts which were too adorable not to photograph. Someone has a very creative mind and a skilled paint brush. I really loved the cowboy post.
We arrived at my Aunts around 7 pm which was about what I anticipated. I had mom and Audrey pose for a picture right away so I would not forget to take a photo. I thought I had over estimated my times, but I ended up hitting my time targets exactly so I should stick with that formula in the future.
... in Winnie because I'm afraid the mosquitoes will carry Bill away!!! It was another stellar weather day for driving until about 20 km from our destination, at which time the sky opened up and the rain came down as only it can during a prairie rain storm! Now the evening sky is clear and promises to be another clear sky day ...
... Current - one large 3 topping pizza with delivery cost $40 - say what? It was tasty, but seriously overpriced - steer clear my friends and try the burger king!
We are enjoying the luxury a hotel room has to offer tonight - no tent to set up, no bugs to swat and our very own beds and bathroom with a shower - how dreamy!
I'm off to bed now as it is way to late to type any more.

... to be a great place! ACT park was a wonderful lunch stop. After our picnic, we visited the splash park. Toby loved the idea of it, but was scared by the powerful blasts of water. Seta, on the other hand, was eager to get cooled off.
