We made it! Over 44,500 miles and thirty countries in 254 days. So, many thanks to those who were so encouraging and to those whose expertise and experience helped us get ready. And thank you to everyone who was so generous in giving us a comfortable bed and a home cooked meal. And thanks for allowing me to share the trip with you. It added a new dimension to the odyssey.

The overnight stop in Alabama was
at another Yogi Bear Park. Once again
Yogi was there to greet us.
Along with Yogi and Boo Boo were his gaggle of geese, some of them were wearing a strange head dress.
We had stayed at a Yogi Bear RV
Park some time before and when I booked this one I thought it was the previous
park. How wrong was I. There are around 80 of these RV ...
... the river the water was murky and you couldn't see your feet but on the plus side it was warm! The current was so strong that you basically could just float and you'd move along at quite a quick pace. We only floated onto the next spring which took no time at all so we exited the river and got out of the springs to shower and warm up. Because of the heavy rain this morning we stayed here another day. It continued to rain off and on most of the day but by late afternoon it stopped and we were able to go to the pool for a short time. We hope to be home ...
