... but this has changed over the years but football still is god. There is a huge stadium which is just for football and hosts about 6 games a year. Their football season is only about 11 games. Seems such a waste to have a facility so underutilised.

Carol and I are touring the upper Lower Peninsula and the UP (Upper Peninsula if you're not a Michigander). We will be camping in our camper at Sleeping Bear Dunes, St. Ignace (overlooking Big Mac), Tahquamenon Falls, Wells State Park and Door County in Wisconsin. The colors are beautiful although it's a bit chilly (mid 40s the last few days). We're so thankful to have a camper with ...

Heading to a golf resort

A travel blog entry by jet3040 on Jun 02, 2013

Today we are heading to a golf resort in Gaylord Michigan called Tree Tops Resort. We are heading there with our friends Wally and Joanne. We will be staying and golfing until Tuesday, and then heading to Chatam Ontario, to a friends bed and breakfast. We drove about an hour past the resort and went to the Mackinaw Bridge which is on the tip of the peninsula of Michigan. It was very interesting and pretty....and ...
