... were on our way west to Kamloops, British Columbia. We drove through Yoho National Park, Mt Revelstoke NP, and yet another Glacier National Park, which confuses me, because Glacier in the US extends up into Alberta and is also called Glacier NP in Canada. Well, after driving for days and days through flat prairie lands and farms, there are no crops, here. These lands give back in a very different way…they are food for the senses. ... As you may have realised, we are being over fed. Arrived in Kamloops. 576 people on the train. We were issued with our room keys on the train, got on the allocated bus, were delivered to the hotel and went straight to our rooms. The organisation is fantastic. Went for a 40 minute walk, went back to the hotel and had a mushroom soup and a scotch (ok, 3 scotches). Have to be on the bus at 0615 so time for a shower and ...

She decided to clean out the gutters and then had to go and get some gutter guard for the area near the tree. The dent is still there but at least the gutters are clean. I feel really slack but I wouldn’t climb up and clean out the gutters at home as I am scared of falling. Jenny was quite comfortable doing it.

First, Happy Birthday, Arnoldt. Wish you and Bernina were with us! Left Kamloops at 8:00 AM. The train is longer now, having connected the train from the Jasper route. 27 pieces of equipment, 740 or so passengers in three levels of service. The landscape has totally changed. Kamloops is in a high desert and the mountains and plateaus are reminiscent of the Sierra ...

We are back on the road today after a brilliant week in vancover. I'm very sad we have started our journey home. On the plus side we went for coffee down to road before we set off. All full of caffeine and waffles we hit the road. Beano making most of the conversation about Russia, black spider man and frogs. We all know about the life cycle of frogs now, which you never know when you may ...
