After Mount Rushmore we headed for home on Highway 90 E. We stopped at Wall Drug for the necessary buffalo burger and five cent coffee, managed to get away without any knickknacks, and took a few goofy photos for the blog. We drove on, stopping at midnight at a Quality Inn in Brandon, South Dakota- the boys transitioning easily from sleeping in the car to sleeping in a hotel bed. After a quick continental breakfast the ...

... blog for that matter.) South Dakota was like a great countdown. We took I90 the whole way across and starting above 400 on the mile markers we had to work our way down to 61 before we got to Rapid City. I also found out his whole family ...

... to mention, now has a name - Betsy. I was biking up a steep hill leading into Devil's lake yesterday and my chain started slipping as I was changing gears. Jensen heard it from behind me and yelled "come-awwwwn Betsy". I liked it. Now 1 of my 2 goals for the trip has been accomplished. Anyways, I got back on my bike and rode it to the Capitol building to wander around and take some photos. The building itself is ...

        Packing Light

A travel blog entry by eher88 on Feb 25, 2013

Ok, so when I first went abroad, I got a checklist from Asia Learn (the program I went through), and the University of Hong Kong. It said, "Pack Light!!!" When they say this, do it! Like really do it!!! Condense your things down to a few items. This is the issue I'm having now. It's super annoying. I don't want to pay for extra baggage fees! I made this frantic mistake when I flew from Seoul to visit some ...
