Planned departure day, barring any problems is Friday Jan. 2, 2015; which will soon be upon us. Up till now just making lists in my head, now time to do the actual packing. See you ...

We decided that it would be a smarter option to put in a really solid day of driving today, and spend tomorrow experiencing a place rather than two half days of driving with nothing that we really wanted to do for the other portion of the day. So we decided that we would push on to Lancaster, the home of the Amish, and spend ...

... Amish can't drink it or sell it.

In the Amish community if a house or barn burns down, the Amish can rebuild it within days. We saw a house being built while riding around.

We went to quite a few Amish quilt stores to find the perfect quilt we both liked for our bed at home, and finally found it. The quilt is a birthday gift that James, Louise and Paul have contributed to. I have always ...
