... the floor tile work in one of the houses today. Hoorah. All the men have been working hard putting up trusses and placing plywood on it for the past week. Last week someone broke into one of the houses and stole our compressor and numerous other power tools. Fortunately the local Habitat office could replace them. Was hard to believe someone would do that.... On our day off last Monday, we drove to Roswell New Mexico where the UFO Museum ...

... families of the homes we are building will be here tomorrow working with us. They are all so excited about owning their own homes. Each future homeowner must put 500 hours of work into their home or another home being built. Sunday and Monday will be our days off and we are looking forward to the rest. We are up at 6 each day, meet at 7:30 and start work at 8. The day is full, we work hard, and feel very good at the end of the day. More later. Life is ...

Our group arrived Sundayand everyone was busy getting their rigs set up. Our campground is a gravel lot directly across from the build site. We do have full hook up and the luxury of a "clubhouse" that has a washer/dryer and a frig stocked with cold drinks and a dining room. **See *Photos**. ... to find a luggage cart, and the kind station master rang a large taxi for us.
By the time we arrived at the hostel, we were pooped to say the least.
We felt so sorry for the guy who had to wake and let us in.

Sleep in a non moving bed was delightful but not long enough time to savour it. This was a hostel, so the guests were up and about, and the aroma of coffee drew us to the kitchen.
