Spent Thanksgiving here. On Thanksgiving day we ate a buffet at Western Sizzler with 18 workers etc. from the campground, then on saturday the campground provided turkeys and everyone brought covered dishes and we all ate at the clubhouse.
... a climbing trip there is always a local pizza spot in the area with bomb ass pizza. I told the group we had to find one and we did! A place called Chicago's. We ordered a DOUBLE DECKER pizza. 1/2 pepperoni and mushroom for the guys and half of my favorite, Jalapeno and bacon! This pizza was heavenly...and we enjoyed it on the dock by the lake near the campsite while watching the sunset.
After we ate we went back to camp, hung out again around the fire, made smores ...
... of places to shop and eat. Suzanne and I had been there about a year ago but decided to see the town again.
We have enjoyed our stay and may even come back here for a visit. Tomorrow we move on to Mistletoe State Park in Appling, Ga. for 5 days before slowly getting back to Port Orange.

Would have loved to buy some of the platters but the trip home might be difficult.. ... to find Anna Ruby Falls but drove right past and ended up north along Rte 356. So we had to swing around through Lake Burton ...a very pretty long lake with many fingers of land so lots of coves.. Would be great for a kayak or canoe. We then drove alone the arussell-Brasstown Scenic Byway to Brasstown Bald...the top of the highest mountain in Georgia at 4700 ft. We took a shuttle to the top and checked out the vistas. You can see 4 states...Georgia, Tennessee, North ...
