... trip to celebrate our birthdays (his 74th and my 30th) (sorry Dad! :)). I knew I didn't want to have a party or anything like that for my 30th because I know I'd be the one to have to plan it all and I didn't want to do I asked Dad if we could take a trip together. We're hitting the road again today. We will be heading towards New Orleans to see the sights. Eboney has read a few books that mention the Lafayette cemetery so that will be one of the sights. Reading all the reviews before you book helps to expose a pattern, good or bad, concerning the amenities, cleanliness, aesthetics, interior roads, site size, condition and upkeep of the park. I can honestly say we have not had a bad experience ...

Oh, my word! What a glorious day after a cold, damp, dark one.The temperature today reached the mid seventies. It was perfect weather to be in a marina and take a long walk. The neighborhood around the marina is lovely. Most of the homes have kept their trees, making it seem as if one was in a state park. So I walked the entire neighborhood, looking at homes, docks, fall foliage and the lake. It gave me plenty of time to ponder the odd sign I saw in the ...
