      ... where we got backstage VIP tickets and met the producer. The lady who took us to our seats was a ******* ***** but its okay because I ended up sitting next to Twitch the DJ for the show.       ... or carpet had faded or were worn, the Historical Society had done an excellent job of having reproductions made. Overall, the presentation of this piece of history compared favorably with that of much grander (and much more expensive tours!) of places like the Vanderbilt Mansion, or Scotty's Castle! Certainly worth taking an hour to check it out!

      He even played the old Victrola for us!

      ... that they were Acorn Woodpeckers who were taking acorns and hiding them in holes in the bark of the trees. Moving from the birds it wasn't long before we encountered a tarantula crossing the road. Of course I had to make sure he got across safely. Apparently they are quite common in Sequoia.

      ... house the barrels that the wine went in after the vats. it would stay in there for anywhere from 3-12 months, depending on the wine and the grapes. We then got to taste the wine and we ended up buying a bottle from there also, we will have to save that for when we get home.
