... LAX where they were going to take planes to Chicago and Dallas. Wow, the house was getting emptier and emptier! Gogo and Grandpa had to drive Kerry, Michael and Diego home because Uncle Luiz had left really early to go to work. Finally, Dad, Mom and Mason packed Gogo's Beetle and headed south to Chula Vista where they were going to visit with Dad's friend Marcus and his family, Raquel, Natalia and Sebastian.

... inning came to an end, we gave in, abandoning the game and arriving at the train station at 11:55pm. Lois, wired and linked in as she always is, whipped out her 4G Cellular IPAD mini, and we continued to follow the cyber-game on the train through the 15th, 16th, and finally the deciding 17th inning (nearly the equivalent of two full games of baseball).

On our final day, the San Diego SeaWorld was not what we expected. It was long on spectacle and short on education about the sea world. Although we enjoyed the shows, we were a little disappointed. The weather held for us. It was a Sunday so it was busy - we were glad it was not high season!

... Everything is very expensive there too. While their "Cirque Du Le Mar" pails in comparison to Cique Du Soleil it is still a stunning performance. The shark exhibit was disappointingly free of interesting information, but they had a good collection of the animals and an aquarium with a tunnel through it is always cool.
