Peg was particularly enamored with the baklava and he grape leaves were the best she had ever had. After dinner we went to the Oak Ridge Boys show. It was great! A full two hour show of only that group. Even at their age they did a great job with lots of energy. Also super neat was a 1902 Remington life size bronze statue of four cowboys riding at full gallop, ...

... the farmhouse. There is also a museum full of pictures, articles, momentos from the Ingalls and Wilder families. Both houses were built on a ridge and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. I hadn't planned to visit Branson, but last week a park ranger encouraged me to change my mind. She told me it was a beautiful part of the state - and she was right. Driving south from Springfield it was obvious that the terrain ...
