      ... interesting van and always surprising to see how everyone survives.

      Onward to the beach for a sunny nap break then people watching on a walk on the pier.

      Time to move on and we head north through more beautiful ranching country. We find a campground outside of a small Danish town called Slovang. After only a cursory drive through (lots of windmills), we set up camp, eat and call it an early night.

      We went to breakfast on the beach this morning and it was delicious! The table and chairs were right in the sand and we could see water and mountains. It was kind of like Costa Rica.

      From what we could see, Santa Barbara is an upscale town with lots of shops but we really only had time to drive through it.
