... one of them asked what project I was working on. I said it was a long story. They wanted to hear it so I told them all about my GRR adventure and the afghan I am going to make. Forgot to tell you yesterday that was racing past a long freight train which always puts a grin on my face...black and white TV, the gang rode their horses alongside the train and jumped on...I guess I still am a 60 something Kid (or in my second childhood already).

... the tarmac road then almost immediately turn back onto the dirt road again! This time I took a corner a little too fast and the washboads were bouncing me off the road! With a little patience I got to the apex of the corner then gunned it! and came out OK. The final 25 kms of the journey was via 4 lane highway sigh... Checked into the motel then next door for Mexican food. My lips have stopped burning now from that almost raw Jalapeno peppers - Yum!

We began the day touring the National Buffalo Museum in Jamestown, ND, which actually was not much of a tour at all. There was a small old frontier town, a few buffalo statues, a gift shop and a small herd of buffalo, which included an albino buffalo. Fortunately, it was free. Nonetheless, I took a photo of John with one of the statues.

We drove on to Minnesota and I began searching the Trailer Life Campground Guide for a RV ...
