    ... casino, just opened. Had a lot of fun, but they still had a lot of detail work to do.

    Ray and Phyllis came on Saturday night and we had a nice dinner; enjoyed catching up with the latest with great friends that seem to be full of fascinating experiences.     Today was rainy but decent. I saw the prettiest country side of my life today in Canada. A lot of people told us this route wouldn't be as nice as the route through Edmonton but they LIED!!!     Hiked a crazy river trail in the morning, made Rainy Pass at 5 pm and were driven in to a wonderful world. The World of the Waylands. Thanks so much guys, too kind.     ... The suicide race takes place all three nights of the rodeo. Horses run down a 62 degree hill that runs into the Okanogan River. The horses then run across the river and into the stadium. It takes place after dark and is very hard to see even though they have lights on the hill. It is an extremely controversial race because it is dangerous to the horses.
