After a leisurely breakfast I caught the bus and subway into town. The sun shone, the aluminium roofs of the old city glistened. I wandered around Vieux Montreal, discovering many museums were closed that day: Pointe de la Calliere, Musee des Beaux Arts... * But that's not even the weirdest news story right now: that belongs to the Montreal self-styled porn star who sent a severed foot to Conservative party HQ, then a severed hand to Liberal party HQ, and then it turns out he videotaped the murder and fled to France. Turns out Canada is pretty eventful after all!
... After our Whopper meals, we headed back to the van to find our way out of the city and to another Walmart to camp up. Now, did we say that this city was a nightmare to drive in the day! Well at night it was even worse, trying to navigate the complex one way system that is blocked off here and there by road works really started to take it's toll. In the end we managed to get directions from a chap in a bar that spoke fairly good (but french) english ...
