We made our way down to the 9/11 memorial site this morning. There is still a huge amount of construction going on down there and security is intense. We queued for a very long time in the frigid cold, the security to get in was airport level. ... The boys had a fantastic pizza while Si and I had an amazing Cabonara, it was so good!

Battled the crowds of thousands back to 50th Street to see "The Fantasticks". It was a bit of a challenge sitting through it with the boys as they were both so tired and just wanted to go home to bed. It was amazingly acted and some superb characters but overall not a show I'd rave about.

Back to the Cosy Inn to rest our exhausted ...

... best part of the whole thing was a 10 minute 4D movie. It was just amazing. It had the hulk, Spider-Man and various other characters and was 3D with the added extra of "special effects" like water spraying in our face, bubbles, seats vibrating, wind blowing, a rod poking us in the back like being shot.... It was hilarious. The last lot of wax figures were musicians and John-Henry finally got to pose with One Direction.

We caught the subway to 5th Ave to the largest Apple store ...

Day 27 - 29: Summer Camp

Saturday: So an early start Saturday as we need to head out to JFK airport to collect a rental car so we could then drive up to Camp. We were able to flag down a taxi and get ourselves to JFK where I checked in to collect a cute Ford Focus (compact size car) more like our family size cars back home.
