... the mystery house with a feeling of sadness over the fact that Sara Winchester didn't do any good with her talents or wealth. An utter waste. She was very educated, talented, creative and wealthy. She could have contributed so much to society and to the world. Instead of taking her grief and creating something positive with her resources, she turned inward and was a very dark and paranoid person. It's really quite unfortunate.

Visiting the neighbours in California!
So with less than a week before I fly home I made a quick stop in San Jose, the third largest city in California to visit my old neighbours in St.Albans. It was a brief visit, but it was great to see them and how they have settled in so well!
On Sunday we all went out for the day in Silicon Valley and visited Google HQ, Apple HQ and also walked around Stanford University campus ...

Meeting the family
We bummed around in the day, I rang home and my parents asked me to do some blogging so that was my mission for the da. Sue took us to a world supermarket and we were shocked at the prices of imported English food here. We found decaf English tea bags though hooray!
We also went to Costco and tried out the free samples.
