... and it does not matter what that person does you will still love them. I love my kids unconditionally. I need to move more into the unconditional.

Drove all day until it started to get dark and pulled off at a Super 8 motel in Elizabethtown (name of one of my favourite movies). I was tired from the long drive ~800 km today so I let myself chill to watching cable TV! Something I never do since there is no cable in the country.

... there … and I did. The campground was full so I parked in the rustic camping area (meaning no hookups) and spent the night.

I realized when I was going through my photos that I took very few photos in Tennessee or Kentucky! I was pushing pretty hard, the weather was awful and I was on very busy roads where there was nowhere to pull over. What can I say except, Sorry! … so I’m including a few from my 2008 trip when we had perfect weather.

Our day started about 9am on the road. We crossed over the Indiana border and saw gorgeous farm fields. We also saw another Amish family in their buggy with little kids running around the buggy in large brimmed straw hats. For lunch I thought I had an amazing idea to go into a wildlife refuge center and find a place to picnic. WRONG�� there was no place to park and I got us a little turned around in this huge place!
