Today, we moved our motor home to Camp Carlson in order to warm it up, ie; thaw it out, charge the batteries, and get the heat pumps running. Most of the day was spent packing everything we need in order to live away from home for the next two months. It's amazing how much "stuff" you need! Since this is a 32 hour overnight and I had all day today, I decided to rent a car and go exploring. No one else wanted to go so I went by myself. ... I had a great evening with Harald, Ramona, and Armin. I wanted to make sure that I had a picture with all of us together before I left. These students have been great to me, and I appreciate their help with my education. I will miss them all.

Now, just three days from landing in Germany, and I'll be introducing myself to another set of students. If they're anything like my first ones, I can't wait to meet ...
