... an entrance, also appearing to be striding through the mist on the water, balls of fire and jets of flame shot up from the surface of the water as canons fired. We were about 20 metres back from the edge of the bay, but we could still feel the heat and were still dampened by the spray from the fountains. (You can tell by the detail in this paragraph that this was a favourite of ours!).

Had a couple of cocktails at hotel bar then just soaked up the atmosphere outside at The BLVD bar/ restaurant at our hotel. Rick had some delicious wagu beef sliders and I had some amazing sea food.
Collapsed in bed at an unknown time!
Awake and up by 05:30, Rick went to the gym and I did and hour of Yoga! Will we keep this up ...

We landed finally on British soil earlier than expected! Our bags took forever to appear luckily as when we walked out Liz's Mum, Dad, Jess, Alfie and Ellie all there balloons, banners, flowers and a huge cheer! A wonderful welcome back, a little embarrassing. On our way home we drove feeling strange to be on the other side of the road and ready to relax!! ...
