      ... can be seen part of the way up the sloops, but then the mountains turn to rocks and solid granite where nothing grows.
      As we continued south, the mountains got lower and the snow caps disappeared. The valley became broader with more green sagebrush and fewer trees. Gradually, as the valley broadens, the terrain became sandier with less vegetation. And what sagebrush there is becomes brown. We also saw our first Juniper cactus. ...

      ... an impressive 120 freightcars! Soon after we stopped at "Mangoos pizz" a for lunch. We continued and came to sandy hills with small grayish green bushes and soon saw something interesting... Right there, on top of the hills, wind turbines, hundreds of them, turned up before our very eyes. Just like indians on a ridge in some old western.
