However, I found the only insect (a wasp) flying around when cooking, it disappeared for a bit and I discovered it crawling and then when I slapped it, stinging me on the top of my leg. It had somehow, climbed into my trousers all the way up my leg and stung me good and proper when it was getting beaten up by me! Poor wasp is worse off than me. To be fair the motels provide a perfect place for us that we can park the bikes outside and carry our gear inside in 2 minutes. We dry out washing on the concrete car park floors and all the rooms have been clean. Two people staying for an average of $30/night each. And a pool, what more could we want?
