Leaving St. Louis was hard. It would have been easier if we'd looked at the street signs and realized we should turn LEFT instead of RIGHT and ended up in East St. Louis; on the other side of the Mississippi in Illinois! Hit the BP station in Metropolis, IL randomly and the boys were excited to find out that it's Superman's hometown. Even the gas station had these sweet cutouts to pose with. They want to collect stickers from all of the states as we travel so we were able to get a fun one. As we travel further south the people seem to get more polite. Less fashionable perhaps but definitely kinder and more considerate. Made it to Kentucky!!! ...
