... I had a dog around. We had planned to go to Clearwater beach that day so we went off in the car, there were traffic jams for miles and when we arrived near the beach realised it was going to cost $20-30 to park for the day. Uh oh. We drove along the road till a lady with a sign waved us down. She was offering parking in her driveway for $20. I explained I didn't have cash but she said that was fine. We parked up and then she asked me to move it closer to the edge ...

We both are sitting in the RV's front seats, driving northbound on Hwy 19, and have been talking about this past winter season -- so much has changed, and definitely for the good! After four years, it became opportune for us to move back into the villa during Florida's winter work/golf season, store the RV under a roof during the winter, and find new ...

The barn life, with sunburns

A travel blog entry by veerlew on Jul 15, 2013

Before most people are going to yell, I did actually put on loads of sunscreen, but still got fried. My shoulders are very bad. And I have this suspicious rash on my body... Anyway you don't want to hear that! Except for the sunburn I had a lovely day. We went to the barn again and I got to meet the owner (tammy), who was really friendly. I also met a lot of other people who were all very nice. I got to know a bit more about the history of the farm ...
