... about 2-3 miles. Nice walk, and nice area. Lots of potential and as Dick read in TripAdvisor, not as much action on River Walk. There are a few restaurants and bars, but mostly the backside of buildings. We stopped a few people to get directions and advice. The tour was free and informative. The brewery sits in the original location and dates back 150 years or so. The technology was amazing as were the 3 free beers at tours end.

As the Wisconsin saying goes We think our outside temperature gauge only goes down to 40. That is what it always reads when it is cold like this morning. Of course that doesn't factor in the wind blowing about 30.

We are heading towards Milwaukee Terry has noticed the beer of choice according to the number of billboards is Busch lite!!

I think they are working on every road and bridge in Wisconsin. Terry is having a rough ...

    Wisconsin: Silos Are US

A travel blog entry by ralphieboyo on May 16, 2011

We took off out of Elkhart rather early this morning under a sunny, blue sky. We gassed up Shorty and hit the corrugated Turnpike west. The trip was pretty long, for us anyway. We turned off at Gary, IN, intending to go west to avoid the traffic of Chicago. We tried that for a while, ending up driving through several small towns at thirty miles an hour. Not for us today. We set the GPS for our ...
