... lodge building. It got very cold just before the ceremony began.

  • They had an enormous wedding party - 9 each bridesmaids and groomsmen.
  • The bride's uncle led the ceremony, but called in a reverend to officiate the vows and do the pronouncement. I hadn't seen that before.
  • Everyone had a great time. You couldn't pull Vivi off of the dance floor.
  • Pictures to come.

And by the names I see on the medical centers (on one, 5 out of 6 names were either ...

... and power is local (which, generally speaking, is a good thing I'd say) it makes it easy for companies and developers to simply abandon urban areas due to high taxes, high cost of renovating old structures and inconvenient location... and just move to the suburbs where the city has no jurisdiction over them... nor can it collect any tax money from them. I've seen this over and over during my journey--and the results are quite sad--and completely ...

... Western Pennsylvania. (Passing a sign for Altoona now!) The kids have old iPhones converted to iPod touches and they are enjoying full, unrestricted non-wifi use of them. We did require that they write in their journals before they play on them! They are really learning what is wifi and what is not. A little tech lesson. Woot woot! Chicago or bust by ...
