    ... before.

  • Poking around in the lodge, we saw part of the owner's collection of antiques and, erm, collectibles - including a six-piece band fashioned out of taxidermied bullfrogs. So, you know, kinda creepy.
  • Everyone had a great time. You couldn't pull Vivi off of the dance floor.

    ... we thought about the tacky area. At least he had the honesty to talk about the elephant in the room. If you come to Niagara Falls don't stay on the American side. Other than a few hotels and some seedy looking theme parks it doesn't have much going for it. Even the view of the Falls isn't as good. The Canadian side is much better.

    So I'm back in Altoona!

    Dylan and I are relaxing and getting ready to head to Rockwood, PA to meet my cousin and her friend and then continue with a group of four!

    Altoona has had a wonderful healing effect. I can now feel my legs again. My parents have provided us with everything you need for a bike trip including tortellini and fruit tarts, and we are ready to get back into it ...
