We met family in Chattanooga to take the Fall River Cruise aboard the Southern Belle. It was a 3-hour cruise that included a buffet dinner, bingo, live entertainment and a beautiful cruise on the Tennessee River. While we cruised, a tour guide talked about the history of Chattanooga, which began with the River, and pointed out key points of interest along the river.

... I felt like I was in a Jules Verne novel. It's the tallest underground waterfall in the USA which begs the question how many are there? Even walking through the caves was really pretty, opening out and narrowing in again in places. We saw the tunnel that Mr Lambert crawled through for 6 hours to originally find the waterfall. ... we travelled along a river full of white water rafters and then a lake. Very pretty and a route I would recommend but you have to take I 24 part way through Chattanooga to cut over to route 64West or you end up on a very scenic tour of downtown and the Acquarium which was worth a look for a amazing sculpture and a waterfall ...

So it's been a long time since my last post.

Soon after Pittsburgh I began to get really lazy at writing in my journal. What does that mean for this post? It means money spent and miles ridden are not well remembered and only the main events for each day have stuck with me. So this will be a really reduced entry... and I'm okay with that. I feel as if I was writing too much before anyways.
