... Sunday the priest was giving his sermon for the locals. It goes for 2-3 hours and is played outside the monastery. At times it sounded like he was in pain. Needless to say we didn't attend the sermon, we went and had coffee. Next stop the winery. Still raining! Danielle was happy they served us food as well. Food was really good, fresh tomatoes, feta, bread and salami. When we were told we could go back for seconds it didn't take long ...

Tomorrow is our last stop - Dubrovnik Croatia. ...

A quick, final diversion for Noordam to Greece again. This time, the island of Corfu. We'd been told Paleostritsa was the best bit so decided to spend the day there. We ran into our Scottish friends Leslie and Brian at breakfast who had the same idea so we agreed to share a cab. As we exited through the port, we saw hire cars available for 40€ per day, so thought, why not? On seeing the size of the car, we upgraded to a tiny ...

loves ancient ruins but for it to be a fort - well!!!!! We visited the museum attached to the fort and then I told Steve I would find a comfy spot andYesterday we arrived in Corfu, it was very hot and we took the shuttle bus into the old part of town and the fort area. Steve was in seventh heaven - he he could explore to his hearts content. He will write the following about it. The fort sits on a hilled peninsula at the end of the town and ...
