Great deal! I will stay here again!

Well, for the money, this is the best deal in Gatlinburg. It is very clean and in a convenient location where you can walk to everything. It does have balconies that overlook the river and the street. I love it because who wants to spend all of their money on a room when you hardly stay in it anyway. It is really a basic hotel room but it has a refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, you name it. And it is CLEAN.

That is the main reason I love it. I have stayed at dumps in the middle of town for twice this price. Now it is not a huge, luxury hotel but who would expect one for this price. I say, if you want the best deal and a nice place to stay, then stay here. Excellent!

Heaven in Gatlinburg

The Rocky Waters Motor Inn (the one by the highway coming in) makes my visit complete everytime I go there. This is the ultimate experience for me for the last 10 years at least. It is close to everything, flowing water on the deck and the rooms are nice. I personally recommend this motel. Keep up this property.

We stay here every year

My Husband and I stay at Rocky Waters every year and we just love it. The staff at the motel are very nice and polite and do everything to make our stay as nice as it can be .Now we have family that comes with us and they love it too!You can't go wrong staying at Rocky Waters.Sincerely,The Walker's

Good enough, I guess.

We stayed 4 nights at Rocky Waters. The first thing anyone should know is that although all their rooms do overlook the river, the river runs along the main street in Gatlinburg. So you not only overlook the river, you overlook the traffic. As we were there on the "shoulder" between summer vacations and fall foliage, it wasn't as bad as it might have been, and the river does rather muffle the noise of the traffic. The room was clean, but rather overstuffed with furniture. It is an older motel trying to keep up with all the amenities offered in the newer ones. The outer hall from the parking lot was rather ratty, but on the upside, being partially inside and partially outside, it was more quiet than either a fully inside or outside. The worst thing about the room was the tub/toilet facility. It was so small that you banged your elbow on the tissue holder everytime you sat on the toilet. The price was reasonable, especially after I found a coupon for $10 off for each night of our stay ($40!) on their website. All in all, I would probably stay there again.

Great Vacation

We have stayed at the Inn several times. If you can't decide between a quiet retreat in the mountains or a stay in town this is the place. The rooms are clean, comfortable and right on the river. Even though you are in the middle of town it seems like you are all alone on a mountain stream. At night lite the fireplace and crack the window so you can hear the river. It is wonderful!!

Excellent!

I can't say enough about this place. We stayed here a few years ago and were most impressed. The price was reasonable, the fireplace in our room made for luxurious ambiance, the view from our room (of the creek with the ducks) just added to the value. I don't normally write reviews like this, but I am now recommending this inn to a friend and came across this website. I give Rocky Waters the highest rating possible.p.s. many thanks to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

Loved the Pools

It was a very nice place to stay. I loved the heated pool and the hot tub the best. The rooms where Very Nice. I loved leaving the window open to here and see the river below. I would recamend this place to my frineds.

Love Rocky Waters Motor End
