Townsville... You lil beaut!
... when it was very hot – but we made it and saw some spectacular
views. The walk back down was even more pleasant – and we headed
back over the The Strand for burger & chips by the sea :-).
In
the afternoon we headed over to the Aquarium which holds real life
coral and fishes – including Barracudas and Hammerhead sharks –
some really spectacular sights – and then visited the Turtle
Hospital, an ...
Townsville, shopping & beach-bumming, 3 nights
... much stuff with her...). We spent a morning hanging out in one of the town's several botanical gardens, which was nice. In addition to a couple of small beaches, there's also a salt water rock pool right at the foreshore, where we did some swimming and tanning. Not much else to report from here...

... get back up there. Time will tell if it will be as good as it sounds.
Anyways as we have to fastforward our travel plans to get down to Brisbane for Wednesday, in one hour we depart Townsville for a 24 hour bus journey to Brisbane and we have two days to relax there before we head to the resort. Photos of townsville to follow as my bag with the camera is locked in the hostels luggage room.

Day1-It was a super sad morning leaving Cairns after 5 months living there :( our farewell was emotional with Adam and Joe seeing us off. We left Cairns at 7.30am and got on our Oz experience bus to Townsville.
