Day 1 - Had to get the coach to Townsville, then a ferry across to Magnetic Island, then a bus to the hostel, so we didn't get there until the afternoon. We spent today checking out the major attractions Townsville has to offer - Reef HQ and The Strand. Reef HQ is a large coral reef aquarium displaying a huge variety of coral, fish, sharks, turtles and many more underwater favourites.
