      ... there when the mine was closed they had to be brought to the top.

      We roamed thru the Blacksmith shop where they had two guys working and then thru the offices that had displays from when the offices closed. Ate lunch under the large Ponderosa Pines then drove into Nevada City and Grass Valley to look around.       ... if she's had her shots or maybe has flees. Mom has been trying to find out if she has a family. Today one of the neighbors told mom where she lives. Seems that she likes our yard better so mom will keep feeding her but feels much better knowing the kitty has a home. Besides she provides good exercise for me and BB as we run from window to window keeping an eye on her. Mom and dad have been very busy visiting family and friends. ...

      ... to their deaths. It was a humbling experience looking over the edge and almost scary. Along with the shear beauty the point afforded a great view of Half Dome and Glacier Point as well as the entire valley.

      We stayed and chatted with a few people, took pictures, and then headed down the long and winding path back to our car. We ended up running near the end and we reached the bottom in about an hour an a half! It was great to finally be done ...
