Weekend on the Beach! + Full Moon Party

For his last weekend in Thailand, my dad decided to bring me to Ko Samet. Despite of the rainy forecast, we still had a blast! From eating on the beach, to driving around muddy dirt roads on a scooter, it's needless to say that it was quite an experience! A part from walking around the island, we also stumbled on a Full Moon party. Some friends from Bangkok were there on Saturday night so I had a lot of fun and, of course, a lot of buckets :)

Enjoy the pictures!

Even though I never intended it to be a 'soul-searching' journey, I have a much stronger feeling of content and 'inner peace' now at the end of my travels than I did when I left Ireland 6 months ago. I realized that I'm not only a very fortunate person but also a stronger and braver person than I thought and this realization brought me a bit ...

... either, but then he started making weird squeeking sounds and sniffy noises... he was crying!! Suddenly, the speed shot up to 120 and she started burying his head in his right shoulder with his eyes closed, having weird spasms as he cried!! That's when I started to panic. Vanessa asked him in Thai to please slow down, explaining she was scared for Miya, but he got really angry and started shouting at her!! They had no seatbelts in the back, so Vanessa got Miya to lie down and ...
