I spent almost a week in Negril, a long stretch of beaches along the western tip of Jamaica. Very popular with tourists. I walked the beach several times and I've been annoyed by the "farmers" and the like on a regular basis. They are sometimes aggressive. Better to walk along the road than the beach at night to/from the restaurant for obvious reasons. Nice sunsets.

We awake to the sounds of the surf and the chatter of the beach workers arranging the lounge chairs and raking the sand before the guests get to the beach. Our room service coffee and fruit arrive, and we plan the day. We want to try the breakfast at the Palms and see how they prepare the food.
