I was not overly impressed with the vineyard landscape. My tour was limited, but it didn't have the appeal of Napa Valley because the area is pretty much flat. ... was ons ventilatierooster stuk, maar dat los je op met ducktape of in dit geval door er een plastic koffiebekertje in te stoempen. Tegen een uur of 8 's avonds hebben we een grote zak chips soldaat gemaakt in de veronderstelling dat we hier niet veel meer te eten zouden krijgen in de bus. Instead we walked to the top of what was promised to be a very tall tower where we could see 2 or 3 of the lines from above on the desert. In reality it turned out the tower was only about 12 metres high, but we could still see the lines quite clearly. ... arrived in Mendoza and 10pm and managed to find our way to our hostel with the help of several slightly dodgy taxi drivers. The next morning we got up and after a free breakfast of eggs, pastries and ducle de leche (a local favourite which is basically caramel sauce) we decided to explore the city.
