... full experience of the drag lifts, and getting a free ride down the chair lift! Tracy didn't know how to ski so I have her the quick run down before we headed down the hills! She got the hang of it pretty well and pretty soon she was flying down the hills! (literally, she couldn't always slow down) We had a really fun day though and only had issues with our skis once! There was snow or something packed into my boot or ski and I'm not kidding ...

... in the delightful village of Celerina. We ate traditional capuns (a speciality of the area) and venison cooked with fruit which was delicious and also a local specialty. A perfect meal to end this lovely day.

Heading south west we drove down a steep twisty pass to the Val Bregaglia and the village of Casaccia ...

Moved on this morning, up the Pitztal valley, just south
of Imst. Went up to the Pitztal glacier, taking the Glacier Express(tunnel
train) followed Tyrol’s highest cable car to the restaurant at 3,440m, near the
top of the Wildspitze (3,774m). Perfect weather for a day in the snow – blue
skies and no wind.

Staying near Jerzens tonight. Had a great evening meal at
the campsite restaurant ...

Rainy Skies

... around 5 Deg C outside). So that
equates to 2.7 kW in 17hrs, mostly due to the fridge – all heating was on LPG
and other consumption was fairly minimal in comparison. Their PC showed the
fridge was clearly cutting in and out every 1-2 hours, in a “square tooth”
fashion.

Headed off to Galtur where we did some shopping, talked
with the tourist office (who confirmed that there was no camping this side ...
