    ... out of a side road in Hammersmith straight into the front of Optimus and into the windscreen. The guy was being chased by police so Andrew and I deserve 'good civilian' medals for stopping him (*nod). Needless to say, we were a little shaken but we knew we needed to get out, grab the drugs and make a quick escape to mainland Europe.     We came in April 15 after a 6 hour drive and showered, ate and then slept. The next couple of days are always spent the same way - unpacking, doing laundry, grocery shopping, all those things we must do just to get to the point where we can relax.     ... or just has the same name... The drive up it was pretty crazy, it was a little bendy road up the side of the mountain. It went past a waterfall which was mostly frozen over and was very impressive. We also took a gondola there to the top of the mountain from where we were practicing but we didn't ski down because it looked very steep! We have our rental stuff for another day so I think we are going up another slope tomorrow to give that a shot.

    ... at excessive present pile-age). I think dinner was 2 minute noodles - very low key. This was mostly because we didn't realise that all the shops shut at 2pm and don't open again till Boxing Day. Oops. Good thing we have plenty of weetabix as emergency backup!
