We were planning to go to Liechtenstein but thought we may as well as it was sort of on our way. It's the worlds 6 smallest country so it would have been rude not to go..haha.

We didn't drive to the main town but to another.. where really there wasn't anything. I did get a photo with the tourist sign though. Had to somehow prove I'd been there!

They had just made it through the Flueelapass, but they had lost brakes, and so the vehicle was left on the road and they put their stuff in another vehicle to get to the nearby campsite. A short night later, they eventually got back to their vehicle, and found that it was OK to drive. Gaz had removed the bonnet, to allow the engine to cool more easily.

Our third stop of the day was our first in Austria. Now I was entering undiscovered lands! Feldkirch is right on the Switzerland border. The old town centre is surrounded by towers, and a castle sits on a hill above.

Work has been quite slow lately so since I had nothing better to do today, I took a train to Sargans, Switzerland, and then waited for a bus to Vaduz, Liechtenstein. I missed the bus that left 4 minutes after I arrived. By missed, I mean I couldn't find it until I saw it driving past me. And there are only two or three bus stands in Sargans at the train station, so it was completely due to a lack of intelligence on my part.

... installed as soon as the local carpenter has finished learning how to be a sculptor and made me a statue of me that is going to go in the hole in the ground. mmm redundancy.... The next phase of my castle has almost finished construction too. It will consist of 23 rooms, each more decorated than the last. The best room will be saved for my personal use as a broom cupboard.

Sometimes you are traveling and you pass something that makes you stop, turn around, and go back to see if you really saw what you think you saw. I usually go back and either make a very confused look as I try to figure out what I'm seeing or I just start laughing not ...

... I am still tired! I didn’t want to drag my butt out of bed or out of the shower, once I got in. This jet lag really has me whupped. Finally, we struggled down to breakfast around 7:30 am. Breakfast was pretty much the same here as we had in Austria...cold cuts, cheeses, rolls, jams, breads, yogurt, and cereal.
