      ... the ski hire place in our little town and asked about hiring skis for me and a snowboard for Ben. It seems like its really cheap here it was only 12 euros to hire for half a day. There are plenty of little ski slopes around here with their own ski lifts which are apparently very cheap to use. There is no big ski resort in this area with lots of slopes, but it seems it will be good for us to pick it up again here because its not so steep. Hopefully we can do that ...

      Today is new years eve and we actually had a plan for the day. Last night we met some Germans staying in the hotel who were very friendly, they had booked a horse and sled ride through the town today and asked if we would like to come too. We said yes and so this morning went with them into the town and went for a ride.

      The horses were Hungarian war horses and apparently there are only around 450 ...

      ... meetings and such. There is a basement, which we call the Keller, where we all can hang out and have fun. All of the students live on the 2nd and 3rd floors (so technically the 3rd and 4th floors) and lucky me, I got the 3rd floor. Woop woop. I expect to have lovely legs by the end of this trip.
